OBEX

Synthetik’s patented multi-layer technology providing protection from explosive blast, Advanced Impulse Reduction (AIR), with its ballistic material technology, HardTac, has been incorporated into OBEX, a modular blast and ballistic wall system. Characterized by its agility, adaptability, reusability, and superior protection levels, OBEX is highly suitable for both expeditionary deployments and enhancing protection in restricted spaces as aircraft revetments, critical infrastructure protection and compartmentalization. OBEX has been vetted through the U.K.’s Army Warfighting Experiment and test-built by the U.S. Marine Corps.

OBEX can be configured to form both permanent and non-permanent barriers. Quick and easy to assemble by hand with a small number of parts, it can be configured to provide perimeter, side, and overhead protection.
