U.S. Air Force Selects Kontek Industries to Provide Physical Security and Force Protection at B-2 Bomber Base

New Madrid, Mo., August 25, 2005 — Kontek Industries, Inc. has been selected by the U.S. Air Force to construct and install its physical security and force protection products for the "Mighty Guardian Project" at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, home of the nation's fleet of the stealth, B-2 bombers.

Kontek will be designing, manufacturing, and installing new state of the art force protection products and providing complete integration for the Combat Command's Critical Weapons Area.

Kontek will be creating secured defensive positions from which elite forces would defend the area from potential unlawful combatants. The unique products will be designed and constructed to resist and repel explosive devices and a variety of weapons.
